Fitting of FROU FROU garments is casual

The age range in our sizing should be used as a guideline. In order to work out the correct size for your child: measure your child and check these measurements against the body measurements in the sizing charts shown.

Hats - How to Measure

To order the right hat size, please measure the circumference of the head at the widest point, across the forehead and back of the head. If your child has a lot of hair, please measure a little more loosely so that the hat is comfortable to wear.

Head circumference and hair volume vary from child to child and aren´t necessarily tied to age.

Based on our experience, the following sizes are typical:

XS    -   48 cm - age 10 months to age 1,5

S      -    50 cm - age 1,5 to 3 

M     -    52 cm  - age 3 to 5

L      -    54 cm - age 5 to 10

XL   -     56 cm - age 10 to 16

size XL might fit some adults, too.

Garments - How to Measure

Height: Measure from the top of head to the ground (without shoes).
Chest:Measure around the fullest part of the chest.
Waist: Measure the natural waistline, just above the hip bone.

CHILDREN BODY MEASUREMENTS

It is advisable to compare your measurements with the sizing chart before making a purchase. If you find yourself between sizes, it is generally recommended to choose the larger size for a more comfortable fit. Accurate sizing can significantly reduce the likelihood of returns and exchanges, thereby enhancing your shopping experience.
